Roasted pumpkin seeds

It’s almost Halloween and if you’ve been carving pumpkins, or plan to, don’t waste your seeds!  They are a delicious snack. This is a nice thing to make any time you’re cooking pumpkin.

After you’ve hollowed out your pumpkins, pick out the seeds and place flat on a baking tray. (Some people wash the seeds but it isn’t necessary). Add salt to taste and bake in a 120ºC (250ºF) oven until golden. Stirring occasionally, it should take around 20 – 30 minutes.
